BY BOAT

By sea, Mallorca is connected with the cities Barcelona, Valencia and Dénia on the Spanish peninsula. There are several connections during the week to/from Palma and Alcúdia harbour; although in wintertime the number is somewhat reduced. Depending on the starting point, the trip lasts about 8 hours; 4 hours if you use the fast ferry to Barcelona. Companies transport merchandise as well as passagenders, cars and motorcycles but it is advisable to book well in advance, especially if you want to book a cabin or bring your car/motorcycle onboard.

From Mallorca there are also regular connections with the other Balearic Islands. In summertime, for example, you can book every Sunday day-trips to Ibiza city or Menorca.
